We’d like to remind you about the upcoming deadline for submitting 1 or 2 books for the Crescendo25 Artist Book Awards, $5,000 for the winning entry and $1,000 for a work made by an artist living in the Illawarra area.

Clifton School of Arts (CSA) presents Crescendo 2025 Artist Book Award, the curatorial
initiative of four recognised book artists and CSA members, Liz Jeneid, Judy Bourke,
Kathryn Orton and Lucia Parrella. This new art award will bring together works by leading
and emerging artist book makers from across Australia and the Asia Pacific region. It will
build on the success of Prelude Artists’ Books Now, an exhibition which showcased 52
unique artists books at Clifton in November 2023. Enthusiastically received by over 370

The theme I AM HERE encourages artists to reflect on and express their unique perspectives, using their work to build awareness, inspire celebration, and evoke joy. We invite artists to interpret this statement as a call to explore how art can spark meaningful dialogues, connecting audiences with the vibrant experiences that enrich our collective understanding.
