3rd Macao Printmaking Triennial

Information from the website: This triennial aims to promote printmaking art creation and research. Launched in 2012, the Triennial has been comprehensively showing the latest developments in printmaking. By holding the exhibition regularly, the organiser has been offering a platform for in-depth exchange between international printmaking artists, as well as an opportunity to appraise quality works to foster Macao’s printmaking art, thereby promoting the creation, appreciation, studies and development of local printmaking works.

Australian Print Triennial Print Award
ENTRIES CLOSE AUGUST 6TH!

As part of the 2018 Australian Print Triennial there will be a major exhibition of finalists for the APT Print Award. The Print Award has been designed especially for printmakers in that all aspects of the prize are designed to enhance and support the winner’s printmaking experience. The finalists will be selected by two judges from all of the entries received. All entrants will be notified as to their selection or non-selection.
Burnie Print Prize 2019
The Burnie Print Prize brings the best of contemporary print art to Burnie by print artists from the Oceania region.
Exhibition: Friday, 22 March 2019 to Sunday, 5 May 2019

Megalo International Print Prize 2019

Megalo Print Studio + Gallery are pleased to announce the first Megalo International Print Prize with an impressive $18500 in prize money.
FIRST PRIZE – $10,000
SECOND PRIZE – $5000
PEOPLE’S CHOICE – $1000
LERIDA ESTATE ACQUISITIVE PRIZE – $2500
Artists may enter up to 2 works.
Entry fees are $40 for 1 work or $60 for 2 works.
KEY DATES FOR ENTRANTS:
• Entries open: 18 June 2018, 5pm AEST
• Entries close: 23 September 2018, 5pm AEST
• Finalists announced: 26 October 2018
• Prize winners announced: March 2019

Tokyo International Miniprint Exhibition 2018

Tama Art University has organized the Tokyo International Mini-Print Triennial five times thus far, with the aims of showing the world’s latest contemporary prints and collecting scholarly data on materials, techniques, and expressions of printmaking.
For this sixth edition, we will hold an open competition in search of greater artistic and cultural diversity.
Entry period
Entry period OPENS starts at 11 AM on January 11(Thu.), 2018 (Japan time)
Entry period CLOSES at 8 PM on January 25(Thu.), 2018 (Japan time)
Works must have been produced in 2016 or later.
Each person may only submit one work.
Works must be signed and edition-numbered by the artist.
There are no restrictions on plate types or techniques used.
Works are to be on A4 size (297 x 210 mm) paper, horizontal or vertical, and the image size is to be no larger than 270 x 180 mm.
We do not accept collaborative works.
Works that soil the surrounding environment or are difficult to handle may not be accepted.
This is an open competition.
There is no fee to exhibit.
Selected works will be acquired by the Tama Art University Museum of Art and will not be returned.
