Anthea Boesenberg and Anna Russell, together with Rhonda Nelson have been successful in their submission for Climarte’s poster project with this ‘Canary in the Coal Mine’ poster with a nod to Spike Milligan. The posters will be pasted up across Melbourne over the next few weeks, together with 9 other posters from other artists.

With a main prize of $15,000, the 2022 Waverley Art Prize is open to painting, drawing, print & mixed media. Entries open Saturday 19 February 2022 and close 5pm Friday 13 May 2022.
This year’s Judges are Daniel Mudie Cunnigham (Director Programs, Carriageworks) and Michelle Cawthorn (artist).

Printbank Mackay warmly invites all printmakers to take part in our 2022 Postcard Print Exchange.

Using any printmaking technique, create an edition of 3 prints based on the theme ‘Still’.
Each participant will receive 2 prints from 2 different artists The third print will be displayed in the Mackay region and sold to raise funds for future Printbank Mackay projects
All works must be recieved by August 1, 2022.
All artworks will also be posted on Printbank Mackay’s Facebook page and #printbankpostcards on Instagram
There is no cost to participants, except for creation of the works and postage to Printbank Mackay.
Exchange art works will be posted by November 1, 2022. We will supply return postage.
All participants agree to their work being used to promote the project and one print to be sold to raise funds for Printbank Mackay.

Following the success of the PCA Print Exchanges in 2016, 2018, and 2020, we are pleased to invite our printmaker members to participate once again in our third biennial Print Exchange and celebrate the depth and diversity of contemporary Australian Printmaking.
This is a PCA member only opportunity to create a new edition of prints to be swapped with other members. Your print will be accepted into the PCA Archive as a snapshot of contemporary printmaking in 2022, and included in an online exhibition and sale showcasing your work to the PCA audience of approximately 14,000.

A number of members have been selected for the North Sydney Art Prize.
Gary Shinfield, Seong Cho, Lea Kannar-Lichtenberger, and Laura Stark have been accepted together with Anthea Boesenberg and Anna Russell (and non member Rhonda Nelson) in a collaborative work.
