Sydney Printmakers in 2016

January 7, 2016 by sydprint Leave a Comment

We are looking forward to a busy year ahead in 2016, the Year of Print.

At the moment we are working on the new website which incorporates this blog. You may notice that it looks a little different than it used to. There may also be a few ‘wrinkles’ while we sort through things, but never fear, we will be up and running smoothly in a short while.

I hope that all members and subscribers have a wonderfully creative year ahead.

October 10, 2012 by Anthea Boesenberg Leave a Comment

Goat in a Boat, printmakers from Sydney Gallery School.

The third and second year students will be exhibiting etchings, collographs, lithographs and other relief and intaglio prints, responding to this fun and evocative theme, “Goat in a Boat”. It’s a great opportunity to see what is coming out of the art school scene and perhaps even pick up a fresh new work from local emerging artists. Entry is free

Opening: Wednesday 17 October from 6pm
Centrehouse Arts Centre & Gallery Lane Cove

PO Box 4083 Lane Cove 1595

Gallery Lane Cove is located on the Upper Level, 164 Longueville Road, Lane Cove

Exhibition runs until 26 October 2012

This may be the last time you get to see work from the Sydney Gallery School as the State Government is threatening to reduce funding to the Visual Arts in TAFE. Show your support of art education by coming along to the exhibition.
