What the Fellowship Offers
- $15,000 grant
- $5,000 worth of studio access, accommodation and technical support at Baldessin Studio
- 12 months access to the State Library Victoria collections, including workspace for research
One of the primary outcomes of the fellowship is the creation of a limited edition or unique state artist’s book. The fellowship embraces a broad understanding of the artist’s book, encouraging projects that experiment with the form and expand the possibilities of book-based art practice. Artists may approach this through printmaking, sculptural forms, hybrid media, installation, or other innovative interpretations.
