Tiliqua Tiliqua’s annual celebration of all things print is back for its second year with works from over thirty artists, from emerging to experienced

Carolyn Craig is a finalist in the Hornsby Art Prize.

Lea Kannar Lichtenberger, Mangrove Series V – Beyond the Light, Drawing, 2022

Lea Kannar Lichtenberger has won the Greenway Art Prize with her work Mangrove Series V – Beyond the Light.

The GreenWay Art Prize celebrates the environment, creativity & community spirit of the Inner West and profiles the work of outstanding new and emerging artists as well as established

She is also a finalist in the Heysen Landscape Prize in SA with another drawing of mangroves, Mangrove Series IV – Into the Light.

Sydney Printmakers at the North Sydney Art Prize

This year’s North Sydney Art Prize is open from the 14th May until the 29th May, every day from 10am to 4pm. The opening and announcement of prize winners is at noon on Saturday the 14th. The works are spread across the extraordinary site, including the chambers and the tunnels.

With five members of Sydney Printmakers accepted as finalists in the North Sydney Art Prize there’s a variety of approaches on offer.

Gary Shinfield has large works on paper, The Burnt Series, in one of the chambers.

Anthea Boesenberg, Anna Russell and non member Rhonda Nelson have a large collaborative work, Canaries in the Coal Mine, sited in the tunnel.

Environmental Art and Design Award 2021

Salvatore Gerardi, Shadow Lines: Lake Cathie, double concertina artists books, carborundum and relief print processes

Salvatore Gerardi, Angus Fisher, Nathalie Hartog-Gautier, Anna Russell and Lea Kannar Lichtenberger have been selected as finalists for the 2021 Northern Beaches Environmental Art and Design Award.

The exhibition will open on November 12th and continue until December 12th at Manly Art Gallery and Museum and other Northern beaches venues.

Salvatore is also a finalist in the Paddington Art Prize. This will be shown at Defiance Art Gallery, October 15th to October 24th
