We’d like to remind you about the upcoming deadline for submitting 1 or 2 books for the Crescendo25 Artist Book Awards, $5,000 for the winning entry and $1,000 for a work made by an artist living in the Illawarra area.
Clifton School of Arts (CSA) presents Crescendo 2025 Artist Book Award, the curatorial
initiative of four recognised book artists and CSA members, Liz Jeneid, Judy Bourke,
Kathryn Orton and Lucia Parrella. This new art award will bring together works by leading
and emerging artist book makers from across Australia and the Asia Pacific region. It will
build on the success of Prelude Artists’ Books Now, an exhibition which showcased 52
unique artists books at Clifton in November 2023. Enthusiastically received by over 370
people, Prelude Artists’ Books Now enjoyed national media coverage, introducing new
audiences to the contemporary art form of artist’s books, and generating interest in a
two-day workshop facilitated by the curators in June 2024. Crescendo 2025 Artist Book

With the addition of our gallery space 2, there are even more opportunities for exhibitors!
All the details of how to register your EOI are on the website here.
