Warringah Printmakers Studio
etching | drypoint | dremel | carborundum | with martin king: 6 & 7 october
Using aluminium plate and etching with copper sulphate solution, drawing drypoint marks with a variety tools. Adding deeper marks with a dremmel and using carborundum mixed with gesso or glue for rich blacks. Aiming for and embracing scratches and foul biting, inking up intaglio and relief to create exciting, expressive prints.
