Laura Stark

Laura Stark is an established professional artist and art educator. Her work has explored many themes, from questions of identity (she emigrated from Italy as a child) in her Passport Series, to a celebration of the Australian landscape, its textures and colours, vibrantly interpreted with the collagraph medium. This is seen in her recent series based on the bushfires of 2019, ‘Millstream Burning’ realised both in 3D and as a wall work. Her latest work explores the coastline landscapes of the Kurnell peninsula using a combination monotype and collagraph techniques.
