Biography

Helen Morgan is an artist working across printmaking, photography and installation. She employs printmaking as an experimental process, using its iterative qualities to facilitate a process of searching, in order to express perceptual experiences of place. Her installations gather humble, everyday materials, using a spare visual language rooted in abstraction, to explore the values and aesthetics of quotidian architecture. Helen’s work has been exhibited at galleries throughout Sydney and regional NSW. She holds a Master of Fine Arts from the National Art School, Sydney, and is currently a tenant of City of Sydney’s Creative Studios at Bathurst Street, Sydney.
