Biography

Cheryle graduated from Sydney College of the Arts in printmaking originally in screenprinting and photography. Her inspiration for her prints is influenced by nature and living in the Blue Mountains World Heritage area and her family’s Chinese heritage in Australia. She has lived in China, Peru and Bangladesh and has travelled to many parts of the world exploring different cultural connections, moods and diverse experiences of cultural and physical landscapes. She likes to explore many layers in her work in different techniques of printmaking from solar plate etching to digital. Cheryle has exhibited in Australia and overseas and her works are in private collections.
